HOW YOU CAN HELP

24-HOUR CARE SERVICES

Founded nearly 90 years ago as a boys home, St. Charles works closely with government to offer innovative residential services, including:

Focus Residential: Milwaukee County & Dane County
In collaboration with Milwaukee County Department of Health & Human Services and Dane County Department of Human Services, this alternative residential and community reintegration program helps participants and their families complete treatment in order to avoid a correctional placement.

Roads to Independence: Group Homes
St. Charles Roads to Independence group homes are designed to provide participating teenagers with the opportunity to practice and master critical life, educational, and job skills.

Haven House
Haven House offers a short-term crisis stabilization, or respite, placement for youth referred and served through Wraparound Milwaukee; it provides a structured experience for youth while they await transition back to their community placement, or to a new placement.

Shelter Care
Shelter Care provides a 24-hour, temporary, out-of-home living environment for young men and women awaiting court hearings, placement in foster care, group care, and residential treatment, or pending a return home.
