CASE MANAGER--FISS PROGRAM

<>St. Charles Youth & Family Services Community based program of the Family Intervention Support Services (FISS) is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager responsible for connecting Milwaukee County families with at risk youth to support services.  The Case Manager and the family will review the referral recommendations and assess what meets their current needs utilizing a strength based, family focused approach. Service plans are developed, and reviewed routinely to evaluate effectiveness with a connection to community resources to developing long term strategies for the families needs. 
Education and/or Experience Requirements:  Qualified candidate will be Bilingual and have a Bachelors of Social Work or related human service field, a minimum of 1-year child welfare experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications with the ability to type 35 w.p.m.  Candidate should have knowledge of the State of Wisconsin child abuse/neglect statues, crisis management techniques and proficient verbal communications and formal report writing.  Due to the nature of position, candidate must possess own vehicle for work related duties, a valid driver’s license and receive the approval by our agency’s insurance provider.

 

  TEACHER--(DANE COUNTY)

St. Charles Youth & Family Services is seeking a creative and innovative individuals who are committed to helping youth reach their potential through an alternative educational approach.  Requires a candidate who approaches education with creativity and who builds appropriate social and behavioral skills of youth. The ability to write curriculum, IEP’s grade reports, incident and physical intervention reports.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree (in Education preferred); a minimum of one year experience, or training, in relation to working with school age youth (at-risk preferred) and a Wisconsin Teacher certification or the willingness to acquire a minimum of 6 credits per year toward an Emergency Teaching license in the area of E.D

This position is located in Madison, Wisconsin.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST-- DANE COUNTY

Youth Development Specialist – Provide for the safety of staff and clients through crisis intervention when appropriate; implement independent individual life skills, assist in the planning and monitoring of daily activities of youth, as well as provide support service to youth based on their service plans and program goals.  The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s / Associate degree preferred).  Must have a minimum one year of experience with at-risk youth (childcare certification preferred).  Also due to the nature of position, candidate must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license and receive the approval by our agency insurance provider.

This position is located in Madison, Wisconsin.

FAMILY WORKER

The Intensive Family Development Services is looking for a dedicated Family Worker to provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, advocacy, education, and support and community access to children and families in Waukesha County.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:  The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and one year of experience working with children and families, attention to detail and good organizational skills with proficiency in verbal and written communication and in formal report writing regarding recommendations and summaries.  Position allows for supervision toward 3,000 hours and LCSW.  Candidate must also possess a valid WI driver’s license with liability coverage and receive the approval by our agency’s insurance provider.


YOUTH
DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Milwaukee County

We currently are in need of Youth Development Specialists within our 24 hour care Programs.  The Youth Development Specialists role is responsible for providing a safe environment while implementing opportunities for youth to learn and practice new skills within a therapeutic 24 hour care environment, assist in the planning and monitoring of daily activities of youth as well as provide support services to youth based on their service plans and program goals.  Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s / Associate degree preferred).  MUST  HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WITH AT-RISK YOUTH (childcare certification preferred).  In addition, due to the nature of this position, a valid WI driver’s license and clean driving record, liability insurance and receive approval by our agency's insurance provider.


THERAPIST/COUNSELOR PT:

Be part of an creative and innovative treatment team.  St. Charles is looking for part-time mental health professional to join our clinic.  The Clinic provides group, outpatient and in-home mental health services to clients ages 7 to adult in the community.  Ability to work a very flexible schedule, days, evenings, and weekends hours available. Must have achieved 3000 hours of documented Supervised Clinical Experience, Resume/Cover letter must also indicate this experience as well, and be state certifiable.  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree (Master preferred) (AODA Background preferred).  Resume/Cover letter must indicate 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience.  Must be state certifiable.  HOURS:  Flexible schedule, days, evening, & weekend hours are also available (25 or less hours per week).  Case load between one and ten.
